Snacks!

Clever and tasty snacks to tantalise 

Whilst Debbie can’t tailor the recipes on a blog to every individual’s conditions and body the way she does with her clients, she does hand-select the recipes based on healthy ingredients put together in the most inspiring ways. Inspiration is the best step towards embracing genuine nourishment!

You MUST make sure that all ingredients you use are compatible with your own individual medical conditions, medications, allergies and goals.

Almond Energy Bars

Organic Ingredients 

  • 100g coconut oil
  • 70g almonds
  • 20g hulled hemp seeds
  • 100g oats
  • 70g almond butter
  • 30g honey
  • 1 tbsp maca powder (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla essence
  • Pinch Himalayan salt

Method

Melt the coconut oil in a pan on a very low heat – you don’t want it to boil.

Mix together the melted coconut oil, almond butter, honey, vanilla, maca and salt until well combined.

Weigh out the almonds, hulled hemp seeds and oats and add to the wet ingredients. Stir until fully mixed.

Line a baking tray and pour the mixture and spread out until it’s about ½ cm thick. And push down so very compact.

Put into the freezer for 30 minutes or until set. Cut into bars and keep in the fridge till you are ready to eat them.
